JUNIOR DOCENT PROGRAM

| It's not all about studying! Docents enjoying a tour of historic Carbondale. |
Junior Docents are high-school students who serve as museum guides and guides to the Historic Thompson House. They participate
in an 8-week program covering historical background, museum interpretation, display creation and more. Docent groups
meet twice a month after school for two-hour learning sessions. Refreshments are provided, too!
